Hello, can somebody please help me? (and sorry for my English-Italian)
Issue: I can easily backup by DM the address book data from my 9780 but I cannot RESTORE the .pid file because the DM tells me that it is a READ ONLY file.
So, since I have troubles with my address book, how can I restore the back-up one?
In all the recent backup (files .ipd) I have either in full or just partial, the address book is always faded in grey color and cannot be clicked for restoring.
Do I make some errors when backing-up (I dont think so) ?
There is any solution to recuperate my address book ipd file to restore my long data I do need?

ON your device, go to the Messages folder > press the Menu key > Options > Email Reconciliation > and disable the Wireless Reconcile option.

Now, try the IPD restore again.
