Default Charging Problems with USB adaptor and Sync Cable

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed a problem when charging using the sync cable provided and any USB power Adaptor. The BB initally flashes like it is going into charge, but then stops. However, if I use a mini USB sync cord and a cheap mini to Micro USB converter it will charge fine with the power adaptor. The BB charges fine with the micro USB cable plugged into a computer USB port. Did they change the USB pinout on how the cable gets power, just so they could sell special RIM accessories? All the sync cords have been RIM cords. I have tried using Belkin, Apple and a Radio Shack USB power adaptor and I get the same results with each.
