Default Copy-Paste meeting in calendar

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I have a 9700 with OS6 (6.0.0.448) installed. In the calendar, how could I "copy-paste" an existing meeting?

Thanks for your help!

I don't think you can. I think the only thing you can do is to move it.

That's right.....There is no way in the stock calendar app to copy and paste an event.

Seems kind of silly, when you can do exactly that on a Windows/Apple or Android device. RIM should have had a solution for this long ago. I can do it in Outlook/Exchange...by a simple drag and drop action.

I don't know the logic. I presume some of it is the thinking, Why copy? Just use the repeat settings. But of course that isn't 100%. Some recurring events don't fit a consistent pattern.

Also, the response to "I can do it in Outlook" would be, "The BlackBerry isn't a computer, it's a mobile device.". I reckon this paradigm will be changing as more and more people do almost everything on their mobile and expect a full set if features.

True, but I also mentioned that most if not all other mobile platforms already have that capability...and if RIM can't be proactive, they could at least be reactive.
