I couldn't find any reference to this bug but maybe I missed it so my apologies if that's the case.

I upgraded my wife's Telus Bold 9700 from OS 5.x to OS 6 this week and although it's been largely problem free, she's noticed a couple of problems. The phone seems to think it's a Torch 9800 and one of her apps (Kobo reader) also thinks this as it cuts off the bottom of each page, because the Torch's screen is longer.

Anyone else seen this and/or have any thoughts on what to do?

Did you install OS 6 for the 9700?

Sounds like a question for the Kobo Reader developer/vendor?

No, you can't install an OS for 9800 on a 9700. AppLoader or DM prevents that.

I think Kobo reader is using a flawed routine to check the device / screen size. Check with the vendor of Kobo reader.
