Whatsapp version I am using is v2.6.2085 and I don't see any update from the Blackberry App World. Where did you get that version v2.6.2177 ?? coz even i click to their website, I don't see any v2.6.2177.
In the mean time, I think you don't have to downgrade you version of OS.
Yeah, did it on .2085 in the beginning, same story but I deleted and reinstalled it to see if that was the problem (also not the problem). Than I deleted it again and downloaded it from whatsapp.com (though my Blackberry Browser) and than I saw it was .2177 so I got my hope all up, but also didn't work. :(
Btw, I also send an e-mail to them. :P But I don't expect to receive a reply from them.

Hmm, that means 18.104.22.1689 shouldn't be the problem... Strange thing is that .2085 was working properly on v22.214.171.1241...
Like wtf. :') The screen it was stuck on with "Updating" have been open for like 6 hours and suddenly it's working now. :')
So I guess... problem solved? :') Just keep that screen open for a long long time. xD
