Exclamation Updating to OS6

Please Login to Remove!

Guys,

My Operator is not going to release OS6 for 9700 although many have already rolled out the update to their customers, so I went on and I tried to install some other Operator but at the end of the installation I get a warning about a cod file that is could not be loaded cuz of invalid digital signature and when the devise reboots I get the 200 Error white screen!

I have diligently followed all the stepsl wiping, removing SIM, removing battery,,, and so on and so forth and it started to reaaaaallly get on my nerve!

Any thoughts!

Did you follow our instructions in the yellow sticky at the top of the 9700 section, in particular removing the vendor.xml file?

And are you installing an OS for the 9700 specifically?

Try installing using BBSAK. Use Google to find it.

Hello again,

I got it to install, finally! not sure what was the thing that really did it! it seemed that bbm was the module that results in the warning, so I edited the alx files of the installation package so that only the core system applications install and it worked!

will see how it goes from here

Cheers
