Blackberry 9700

I activated my blackberry 9700 - swapped with my 9000.
Verified that my MENU button works - i.e. click- shows all icons. able to move icons around and arrange my desktop.
I now did Enterprise Activation.
My theme is reset and desktop icons rearranged. and...the menu button will NO LONGER work. Click - displays the menu list instead of showing all icons. And in that menu list "hide" "show all" "move to folder" dont work or work randomly. I only have 1 ribbon of random icons showing with no control over them.

Earlier...i first got a Torch which i did not like but this problem was not there in the torch. Then i got a 9700 and returned it thinking it was a problem with the phone. Got a 2nd 9700 and found the problem to be Enterprise activation and not the phone.

I have : wiped phone, updated software, done numerous battery pulls and swapped phones.

Can anyone solve this please?
