First cry for help. I am a bit of a luddite were technology is concerned, not the reason for going with BB. Now I have had the 9700 for a bit I wanted to get some good tunes on just it. Can someone assist with the simplest way of transfering music from itunes to the 9700. Not turning it into an ipod this is just incase I am stuck on a train or bored.

The easiest way would be to just copy it over using the 9700 in mass storage mode. Your 9700 would look to the computer just like another storage device and allow you to just copy over the tunes onto your phone. This can be done on your phone (with OS5) going to Options:Memory:Mass Storage Mode Support. Turn it "on". If you're using OS6 there probably is another path to get there.

I use blackberry media sync. it finds the playlists including itunes on your computer and asks you which ones you want to transfer etc. Easy to use. then it tells you afterwards if any didnt transfer due to DRM issues.

I always copy it manually, never tried using sync but manually seems to work just fine.

I do manually also, for me is much easier. Just copy and paste ;)
I mean copy from source and paste on your memory card.

I have tried moving an Itunes folder containing music from my PC to my Bold 9700 by using "copy/Paste" and BB Desktop Manager and cannot find the folder or individual files on the BB. However, I can see them using BB Desktop Manager whe I look at the contents of the media card in the BB. Any ideas why this is happening? I dread the idea of spending another 3 hours with BB tech support.
