Default Partially working Tethering

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 9700, originally from wind, unlocked, now on mobilicity.

I've setup tethering through the BB management software, everything appears to connect.

However, when I try to access any websites, I'm redirected to a 'pay for another account' style webpage. From there I can click 'return home' which brings me to mobilicity's mobile web home page but if I click anywhere there, it brings me back to the 'pay for another account' page.

I have a working data plan and have checked with mobilicity and they say there's ntohing extra I would have to pay for.

I think it may have to do with the phone coming from another network or being unlocked.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I've called Mobilicity 3 times and each time couldn't get anywhere because 'tethering is allowed but we dont' support it'

Not sure about your issue, but you may want to check out 3rd party app "Tether". It has a free trial and it works beautifully. There's more info on
