Default New Installed Application Autoloading

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have installed two new applications on my phone:
Your Telus Mobile Account
WeatherEye

Whenever I reboot my phone, they automatically start up. The Telus App is going to a web page in the browser and the WeatherEye is getting my weather for my current location.

I don't want them to automatically start up. I have checked the options and there are none for this feature.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, thinking maybe something failed during the install process. No Luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Greg

It seems as though you answered your own question.

Thanks for the response...
So how does one stop these applications from loading?

My wife has the exact same phone with the exact same apps and they don't automatically load on hers.

yes they do, you just don't see them.

uninstal them and tell the developers *why* you uninstaled them.

There's an API call you can do / use to have your apps do this. not controllable by you, really.
