My 9700 has a GPS which seems to stop working every 24hrs.
The only thing I can to to reenable the GPS is a battery pull.

It does not make a difference which OS I load. The same problem occurs with OS5 and OS6.

There is one strange thing:
If the BB is connected to the charger during the night, the GPS seems to work until I remove it from the charger.

has anyone else observed a similar thing, or is the even a fix, or a secret keystroke which I can do instead of a painful (10 minutes) reboot ?

I have developed a system which keeps the GPS alive:
When I grab the 9700 in the morning, if I disconnect the charger first, and then use the Blackberry, the GPS will continue to work.
If I use the device with the charger plugged in, the GPS is dead, even, if I later remove the charger.

I am not 100% sure, because my test series is only 2 days old, but since it did never work more then 24hrs and now for the first time is ok for more then 48hrs I am starting to believe my assumption is right.

anyone else who likes to try this out ?
