| AT&T Navigator - GPS draining battery Please Login to Remove! I updated my AT&T Navigator (telenav/Navteq) app to 2.3.1022. Since then, I have been unable to use the "Drive To" function after searching for a location. After I enter an address or search for a business and then select Drive To, the following message appears:
GPS is turned off. Please turn it on by going to phone settings.
There are two problems with this. One, it still does not work when I go to Setup > Options > Device > Location Settings and turn the Location Services to "Location On" (and then Save). Two, when I have the phone set to Location On, my battery drains really fast. I don't have the patience or time to recharge my phone several times per day.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this the way the new version of the AT&T Navigator is supposed to work? |
