Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I've heard of this problem with in-car bluetooth devices and the 9800 I'm wondering if an OS upgrade would fix the problem, as newer versions have more RF updates. I've had no problem with my 9800 sync-ing with a new ford car. I'm running 9800/220.127.116.116 so, I would update to the latest available OS. 18.104.22.1680 is available for the 9780. There is an official version available, here:
9780/22.214.171.1240 Official Mobilecity (North America)
But just before you install the new OS to the device (after download has been installed to PC), make sure you delete the vendor.xml in c, program files, common files, research in motion, Apploader folder (or the OS won't install). After that you can run Loader.exe directly from the folder to install the OS to the BB.
If that doesn't work, try the owners manual of the audi.... Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
