Unhappy Message folder disappeared

Please Login to Remove!

I did a twitter app update this morning, and after resetting to finish, my messages folder is gone. I still have all the individual message folders, i.e. my 3 email accounts, my text message, my BBM, etc. but the consolidated message folder is no where to be found. Suggestions?

I just tried wiping my device and then reinstalling the OS, and that didn't work either. Someone please help.

First check if you are in the "All" area (and not in Favorites or some other area). To ensure this, press the red "phone hangup" button.

Then make all hidden icons visible by going to

Menu key > Show All

If you still can't see your icon, check in all subfolders if you have accidentially moved it somewhere.

You can also access the consolidated messages list by pressing "m" on the home screen.
