Hello I am experiencing an issue with my 9700.

In attempting to set up an email account on this phone, as usual, I go to setup and then to email, where I have the two options, internet mail account and enterprise account.

When I select internet account, it dumps me out of the email setup window back to the main setup window.

This is my third 9700 with os 6 and I have never had any problems with email setup before. . . any ideas?

Do you have a Blackberry data plan on your account with movistar?

yes, the same plan that I had for my two previoys 9700 (I am hard on phones. . .)

The same thing happens to me when i try to set up my yahoo mail. I could easily set up hotmail one.

Have you logged into your BIS account and changed the IMEI and PIN to that of the new device?
