HELP!! Laptop down...need important software application loader for 9700
 

Hi,

My laptop just went kerplunk.... ;-( I need the new softward for my BB Bold 9700 for it to run optimally. How do I get this important software update without downloading Blackberry Desktop Manager? I'm not speaking in terms of the update that you can get from the device itself by going to "advance options". I need the one that takes at least an hour as I was told by Tmobile. Thanks very much!!! Unless you want to do an OTA upgrade you need a PC. Keep in mind OTA is dependent on the quality of the signal. I never do any OTA.

Why do you "need" the software update? Is the device not working properly?

If the device works as you want and need, then a software update really isn't required. If it isn't broken, there is no need to fix it.

Hey, sorry ro rake a dump on your post but I have a quick question. I have recintly aquired a blackberry and I found out about the desktop software witch allows you to connect to the internet. However after installing the software from the BB tools disk, the program didn't function. It opens and connects to the phone ok, but none of the icons work. Ps. I am running on Windows XP...
