i'm a new member and i have a 9700 of Aus Vodafone. however, my phone have problem with the battery. This always show the virtual battery and the batterry always increase to 100% ( never decrease). But after restarting by putting the battery out and put it back, the battery has showed the true number of energy. and it still increase to 100%. i try to change the other battery and set up another ROM but it doesn't work. how can i solve it ?

You say you changed the battery. Was it an official OEM BlackBerry battery or a third party?

How are you charging (wall charger or through a PC)?

i changed the battery with one from the other 9700 but it still the same. i charged by wall charger.

You didn't answer the question. Are the batteries genuine BlackBerry batteries, or not?

If not, then the best next step is try with a genuine BlackBerry battery.

If both are genuine BlackBerry batteries, and one 9700 is fine with both batteries and the other has the same problem with both batteries, then obviously something is not right with the device. You indicate that you reinstalled the device software. So, if you are observing the same behavior with both batteries after that, and if the batteries are genuine, and if the batteries work fine in the other device, then the problem is hardware.
