Upgrade 9700 os5 to os6

I guys,

Im using a BB 9700 which I got from TELSTRA with a Vodafone SIM.
So which career should I chose when I download the os6 from the BB site?

Also, is there anyway to do it using a mac? Because when I plug in to the Desktop Manager (version 2.3.1 (build 5) ) it doesn't show me a software upgrade?

One more thing, is it going to be network locked if I chose TELSTRA?

It doesn't matter which carrier you choose for the download. Just follow the instructions in the sticky to get the latest firmware.

I would recommend that unless you have a program that requires OS 6 that you keep OS 5 on your Bold 9700.

I installed OS 6 on my Bold 9700 a few months ago and it takes up a lot more memory than OS 5 and you won't have a lot of memory to install additional applications.
