Default Cannot Manage Internet Email on Bold 9700

Please Login to Remove!

I've decided to go to 2-Factor Verification for my Gmail account. I have everything working on 2 computers, but my Blackberry 9700 needs me to give it a new verification password.

I'm using v.5.0.0.979.

Problem is, I go to \Settings\Manage Internet Email on the device, it waits awhile ("connecting to email settings") then tells me "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue." Multiple fails.

I've tried resetting the password from the T-Mobile Blackberry site but cannot find a place to do that.

Please help!

I don't think 2-Factor Verification is supported.

Actually, it is supported - you have to get a new device password from Google. My problem WAS accessing a place to input that p/w in my Blackberry.

Today, for some reason, I am able to get into the Manage Internet Email site, I entered the new password, and GMail now works. Problem solved,
