Unlocked 9800? I had an unlocked pre-released Storm 2 from Vodafone that I used on Rogers. However the call display only worked from time to time or on certain numbers. Wondering if this will be the case if I buy one from AT&T and have it unlocked for use on Rogers. Anyone know if there is a way to fix that? Rogers refused to assist siting the fact that they don't offer that phone and know nothing about it. |
Can anyone shed any light on this? Need to know if I should buy a device from AT&T and unlock it. |
No need to post again. Have some patience, please. The 9800 hasn't been released yet so I doubt that anyone knows for sure. However, an unlocked 9800 from ATT should work on the Rogers network. Just how well, we won't know until it has been done a few times. You won't have any tech support to get it set up correctly or if you have any problems, either. Why not wait until it is released on Rogers? |
Thanks for the reply. There is no planned released date for the device from Rogers as of yet. My Storm 2 is driving me nuts. On my 4th one already. |
