First, you must have a BB data plan to get the maps to download. Do you have that?

To get a decent GPS fix, you need to make sue that you have "Location Services" on and are outside with a clear view of the sky. Can take 20 minutes or longer to lock on. If you have a BB data plan, I recommend that you download Google Maps so it can locate you within 2500 meters. that will speed up the GPS lock.

Need a data plan to get it download? I can download and install it no problem, only thing is it won't show the icon in the All screen or any sub folder, but only can be found in the Application Manager, and it disappear when you reboot the phone. It seems to me it is installed in some temporary space. Is there any setting related to this?
