No voice mail notification icon

I cannot find any icon or other alert for notifying me that I have a voice mail. Am I missing something? I have basic voice mail. (Couldn't get the Visual Voice Mail to work, by the way, and after 45 mins on the phone with tech support, I had them switch me back to basic voice mail.)

is it a setting within the voicemail itself? i know on Vodafone UK, you can have either the normal phone notification, a txt message, or it calls you back after someone's left a voicemail (extremely annoying!!)

Nevermind!

Turns out it was the initial set-up of the phone by the AT&T store when we bought it. Everything works now.

i'm with rogers and I don't get a voice mail icon either and with my old Bold the message file would have a lessage that i had a voice mail. How do i get that working with rogers?
