Default Unlocking: easy/not easy?

Is unlocking the Torch something you can do on your own, or do you have to take it to someone or do it over the internet somehow?

Thanks

unlocking for use on another network?
Like any phone, you need an unlock code, which is determined based on the IMEI of the device.
You need to contact and unlocking company for a code to input. We recommend Horizon Wireless.

A repeat suggestion - HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center - they unlocked my Torch for me.
