how do i change text alerts
 

its driving me crazy ive tried everything! i can,t find this nimbuzz ive seen posted on here any help much appreciatted

profiles , same as for ringers.

The Sounds application allows you to specify ring tones, types of vibration, and light-emitting diode (LED) notifications for the Phone, Alarm, Calendar,Text and Tasks applications, and Level 1 Messages. The standard sound profiles are Normal, Loud, Medium, Vibrate Only, Silent, Phone Calls Only, and All Alerts Off.

To create a new sound profile, complete the following steps:

On the Home screen, click Profiles.
Select Custom Profiles.
On the Custom Profiles screen, click Add Custom Profile.
Type a name for the profile.
Click an item, then click Edit.
Set how you want to be notified for that item.
Display the menu, and click Save.
On the New Custom Profile screen, display the menu and click Save. The new profile appears in your list of sound profiles.

it wont let me change it ive read deleting nimbuzz cures it but i can,t find it

Deleting nimbuzz cures it, only if you've installed it to begin with.

i can,t select custom profile it won,t allow it nothing actually happens when i press it!

Pull the battery and wait for a couple of minutes then re-insert. Then try
