Default 8 cm CD "Blackberry user tools"

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone please direct me to a readme file or some instructions on how to use the small 8 cm CD titled “Blackberry User Tools“ that came in the Blackberry Torch 9800 package.

I see no .txt files listed in the contents of that CD, and in fact, I have not come across any mention of it in any of the documentation that came with the phone or that I have read on the Internet.

Can someone please tell me where those instructions are.

It installs Blackberry Desktop Manager, which you can download. As the disk probably contains an older version.

It doesnt even contain the DM, it brings up the splash screen, and when you click on the install link, it opens a web browser and directs you to the download page at blackberry.com.

The cd is worthless, dont bother wasting time with it.

They could have supplied a pouch instead of that useless CD.
