Problems with new Torch 9800
I posted this on Blackberry's own support forum and got no responses for some reason. Am I doing something wrong? Any help gratefully received.
1) My new Blackberry 9800 Torch won't can't communicate properly with my 64 bit Windows 7 PC becaue there are missing bluetooth drivers. This appears to be a long standing issue since Vista reading through the forums.
2) I can't sync pictures to the PC unless I cable it up using a wire. No bluetooth or wireless option.
3)The KIndle app for Blackberry doesn't work outside the US.
I knew about (3) before I bought the BB but assumed it was only a matter of time before Rim fixed it. Now I see from perusing these forums see how long (1) has been a known issue, I'm not so sure.
Having "upgraded" from a Nokia E61i I've had since 2007 I feel I've gone back in time 5 years. Are Rim actually planning to do something about these issues? Is there any way to find out without paying them $50 for a support incident response?
1) Is a microsoft problem and therefore nothing RIM can do about it.
3) That's amazon's choice and therefore nothing RIM can do about it.
Have you talked to your carrier about these issues? Carriers generally provide level 1 and level 2 support for the device.

It's microsoft's idiocy for not creating proper drivers.
Supposedly they did, but its never worked right.
There are quite a few google results of people getting the kindle app to work in the UK, it may be dependant on model.
