| Re: Mobile network sync problems You may have experience a relocation issue with the other carriers when you arrived. Normally the cell phone sends a message to the local carriers cell tower that in turn is processed to the users carrier. That carrier is required to acknowledge the device is valid and allow any calls or data to be transported to the other carrier. Sometimes things just do not go well and the location update is never sent or received. Pulling the battery or doing a reset usually will send the message again and the system will locate the user. All cell phones can have this problem and itxxx8217;s not an indication usually of a bad phone.
Not sure why you saw the SOS but maybe the carrier had some issues and thatxxx8217;s why it did not locate properly.
