Hi,

I just got my wife a red Torch (AT&T) her in the Philippines and had it unlocked to be used for another network (Globe). Is there a way to use the FB app using wifi. I just get an error to contact my svc provider when accessing the FB app. Do i need to unlock FB app. if so how?

Hi, you probably need to set your APN settings from your new provider (Globe) on the phone.

You must have a BlackBerry Data Plan on the account in order to use FaceBook. The APN settings will not help.

Specifically, jailbreak = iPhone hack.
There is no such BlackBerry equivalent.

That's why I asked, cause you have to jailbreak an iphone to get it ta do what a BB already does!
