Default Deleting applications

Please Login to Remove!

A number of applications do not appear to allow deletions. There is no Delete item on their menu. Is this normal ?

Which applications are you referring to?

They could just be service books that AT&T pushes out as a link to install the actual application.

Those are usually shortcut icons to prompt you to download the app - you can hide the icon if you don't want to see them.

How can I hide these icons on my Torch. Unlike my Bold and my Storm there is no hide option to select when you are in the home screen. any step by step would be appreciated. Thanks.

You do have a hide option - navigate to the home screen, use the trackpad to select the icon, click on the menu key, then click on Hide.

Thanks very much!! As I said I just got this the day before yesterday and after using my Storm I got very used to using the touch screen for this function. This helps clear away a lot of real estate on the screen.

Your best bet is to check the stickies for the process.
