IM+ has Skype capability, but the free version only gives you 30 minutes of free use -- have to purchase IM+ Pro for ... $39.35 (ouch!) for continue skyping.

Well IM+ says that it has Skype capability and when I launch IM+ there is some kind of Skype presence beyond saying that Skype is functioning as my Skype contacts are listed and I can communicate with them with this apparent Skype presence...

gGood questions -- I hust downloaded it a week ago and haven't used it much yet...

It only has Skype chat and is acctually actually called IM+ Lite (v. IM+ Pro), and here is what it says about it in BBAppworld (with most notable answers toward bottom):

> Chat in AIM®/iChat, MSN®/Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo!®, ICQ®, Jabber®, Google Talk, MySpaceIM, Facebook and even Skype with no cost per message!

Invite your friends to MSN, ICQ, AIM or Skype group chat!
You can also access your Blackberry IM history in IM+ Web Messenger at https://plus.im from your desktop computer.

Twitter functionality: View friends' timeline, favorites, direct messages and replies. Post pictures and voice messages to your timeline!

Send files, photos and voicemails.

Integration with BlackBerry® Inbox for OS 4.6 and higher. The last received IMs are placed in BlackBerry® message inbox and you get immediate notification of incoming messages on the BlackBerry® home screen.

Translate messages into English, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese with integrated online translator.

IM+ Lite and all further updates are free!

This product uses Skype™ but is not endorsed or certified by Skype.<
