I have had my 9800 Torch for about 6 months now. Everything was set up perfectly. I had to change the password in my gmail account, via internet. Now, when I try to go into my 9800 to change the password for my gmail account it give me this error message "Uncaught exception; Unauthorized attempt to attach to this application". I need to be able to access all of my e-mail accounts via my 9800.

I found the immediate behavior that triggers the unauthorized attempt to attach error, but seemed to concern troubleshooting apps being developed. I didn't find anything straightforward from a user perspective.

Have you tried a hard reset? That is, with the power on, remove the battery for 30+ seconds and then try again.
