numerous threads on this but all old :(
First off, I understand that GPRS and EDGE are iterations of 2G and that 3G is, well, 3G.
But why does my Boild9800 (3G, Wi Fi) running 6.0 BUndle 2475 (v6.0.0.546, Platform 6.6.0.207)Show a 3G connection, then GPRS and / or Edge just sitting in one location?

And why will my Vippie SIP sofphone connect and register when the phone is sgowing EDGE (Vippie shows a 3G connection!) byt gives a Server Timeout if the phone is showing a 3G connection!
