I have a 9810, OS 7.0 Bundle 1355, using desktop software ver 7.0.0.43, on a PC, Windows 7. Update time is set to "automatic"

Each time I connect the 9810, the time zone changes to Eniwetok.

I am in mtn time, my PC time zone is correct and never changes, the 9810 recognizes and adjusts to other time zones when traveling.

Any idea as to how to correct this?

There is a setting in Desktop Manager (and perhaps in other apps on the PC, for example Microsoft Media Player) to set the clock on mobile devices when connected. Check that and make sure it is disabled, if you haven't already. I don't know what else it could be, though I don't have an explanation why it is the time zone that is changing and not simply the time.
