OnStar Problem
 

Greetings,

I recently loaded the On Star application. My vehicle shows up on the vehicle tab (type and VIN are there along with my OnStar account number) and my preferred dealer information is also there but there is no info on the other tabs. There is a "never updated" button on the bottom of the screen but when I press it it thinks for a minute or so before displaying the message "Unable to to refresh data" and "Unable to execute requested service." It also will not send lock/unlock signals to the car. I've removed and reinstalled application and rebooted phone with no success. My wife has an androis phone and the app works fine there.

Are you sure the app is compatible with your device? App World says it's compable with these devices:
BlackBerry 9810
BlackBerry 9850
BlackBerry 9860
BlackBerry 9900
BlackBerry 9930

If you are using the 9800 as your profile indicates, it is not compatible with your device.

Ok, you might want to update your profile because it helps us to give you more accurate answers. I'm sorry, I am not famiiar with the app myself. Hopefully someone else here can help.

Just got off the phone with OnStar Technical assistance. Despite what I've was previously told about the 9810 being compatabile with the OnStar app, OnStar advises that it is not, only the Curve models are compatable.
