Default Problem setting up email after switch to 9810

Please Login to Remove!

I recently upgraded from a 9800 to a 9810 and transferred all my device information across using the Blackberry Desktop software.

During the transfer process, I was warned I would have to set these up again.

However, my email accounts icon now show (3) accounts as being set up - yet no accounts are set up?

When I try to add them up manually it says "cannot connect to the server' - even though I know the the information is correct.

Why is still showing (3) - and how do I overcome this conflict?

More detail is needed. did you change service providers? did you try deleting the accounts and re-adding them on the phone. Generally this error can be the result of converting to a different provider but if you did not then it may be necessary to delete them.

KB32866-Error "Your device had a problem connecting to the server" is displayed when attempting to integrate an email account in the Email Setup application

Did you change your IMEI and PIN to that of the new device in your BIS account?

Have you resent service books? Done a battery pull?
