Anyone having problems with their trackpad speaking what plant did your phone come from? Mine came from Mexico and it started having the problem, so just wondering if the problem is plant related. If so might go and try and get one from the Canada plant. Unless of course people are having the same problem and their phone came from that plant.

You can either have the unit replaced, or use the tpad until the squeak disappears. Verizon is the carrier with the most units in the States, so will seem to have most of the problems. More than a few have reported this issue, and like I typed, it either goes away, or they have replaced the handset.

Don't concern yourself with where it was made, rather focus on getting a device that has no manufacturing flaws.

Sounds like solid advice I will give it a few more days and see how it does, the phone is perfect other than that. Afraid I will fix one flaw and be stuck with a worse one if I try and take it back. Maybe it will work itself out.
