Hi at first.

I just got my 9900 and am very pleased so far, althought i got some issues i need help with.

First off with a simpler question, since i'm from Sweden i need to access the letters å ä ö. I've been searching on the net but couldnt find any solution on how to access those letters on the blackberry 9900 bold, only in the previous generations. Is there a way to open the different options you got on the letter, for example A, while writing a text message? I noticed that you can "Copy" letters, is there a possiblity to add åäö in to the forth symbols list? The Input language is set on Swedish btw.

Second question is a little bit more tricky. As i have found out does my provider, Halebop Sweden, not support BIS, Blackberry Internet Service, and i was wondering how to turn off the BIS function? Only thing that happens atm when i try to search on the internet is a warning message telling me that this service is not included in my service plan.....

1st question. Have you tried to find/load a Swedish language pack. Not sure if there is one though.

Second Question. If your carrier does not support the BB and BIS, the only thing you can do to get email and RIM services is to switch to a carrier that does support it. You cannot have voice from one carrier and data with another.

i'll look for a language pack, althought i'd say the input language supports all swedish words fine, apart from the fact that when i write "for" the phone conciders the word to be correct so i cannot open the "scroll" to select from other words like "för" (swedish).

Sure switching carrier is an option but none i really want to do. If there would be a way to simply skip the BIS function it would be easier.. i don't really need the "safety" from blackberry servers in the US

Try typing the letter and holding the key down and then scrolling the trackpad left or right and see if additional characters show up.
