You posted in someone else's thread, which is considered bad form.
Your BlackBerry has an IT Policy on it from the previous owner. Search "Remove IT Policy" and you should be on your way. If it is a corporate BlackBerry on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) then you cannot remove the lock.
