9930 Screen goes dark immediately on phone calls
 

Good morning all,

I have a 9930 user reporting that anytime he makes or receives a call on his phone, the backlight goes out immediately, and no keypress will bring it back. I've never run into this one before. Is there a phone setting somewhere I don't know about? To the best of my knowledge, the device functions normally in all other aspects.

OS 7.0.0.254

I don't "think" your issues can be resolved by a setting on the actual device. Check out this document- btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB28451.... ALSO

It has been my personal opinion with the OS 7 devices... software reloads and updates can correct the majority of these "BUGGED" issues.

I have heard about this issue before and have also heard that in some cases, a device OS wipe and reload has alleviated the issue.

Thanks folks, I figured a reload might fix it...it's just not my favorite thing to do with remote users...<sigh>
