Default 9900 Bold - set up device for a Shaw email

Please Login to Remove!

HELP!! I have a 9900 Bold that was on the Blackberry Enterprise Server I have removed the device from the BES and did the security wipe. I want to use this device for a Shaw email but the only option that comes up under Setup, Email Accountsis to connect to the BES. How do I get the option back under the Email Accounts Icon that says "Internet Mail Account"?

Do you have a Blackberry data plan active on your account? Did you remove the IT Policy?

What is "a Shaw email"?

Shaw (A division of Rogers) is a service provider in Ontario and Quebec.

If you do not have a BlackBerry specific plan, then you have to ask your carrier for one before you can add your Shaw account information.

If you do have a BB Data Plan, then goto www.blackberry.com/integrate from your device browser.

Since when have they been a division of Rogers? They are a strong competitor of Rogers AFAIK...having recently purchased concerns in Ontario, moving further east.

They acquired Canwest a while back, but I wasn't aware that they were acquired by Rogers at any point? Curious as to where you saw that they are a Rogers division?

Also - being from Quebec, I am unaware of any activity or presence here by Shaw...

Sorry, Canwest (Global), and yeah they operate in Quebec, I have Shaw Direct at my cottage in Saguenay.

Yup, that I knew...it was the Shaw thing that I was wondering about...but FYI - Canwest was purchased by Shaw, not Robbers...
