BB9900 sound issues

I have used my BB9900 for two months. It works really good until today. My friends heared a nuisance water fall sounds when we were during the call. My system is 7.1.0.746. Is that hardware problem? Anyone can help?

have you try to do hard reboot, my co-worker's 9810 fixed by hard reboot.
pull the battery and card out for 5 mins, and put it back

yes. All the calls and including when I am trying to make a voice record.

May be is the carrier signal.
Try to make calls from other cell (move some miles away) and notice if it happens again.

I have tried to use bluetooth and it is clear as crystal. I think the microphone might be damaged.
