Reset e-mail settings
 
Hi everybody,

I purchased 9900 Bold few months ago and sold it yesterday to another person. I never used e-mail options, just voice and SMS. Before selling a phone I wiped it out from one of the menus, so when we turned it on again it played that "Welcome to Blackberry" video intro. We tried the phone and it was working fine.
However buyer called me just now and said that she can't setup e-mail account because it appears to be locked to enterprise exchange (!?). She gave me IMEI and PIN number and I called original carrier (Wind Mobile) for help. In turn, they gave me a Blackberry phone number and there is support for dealers only, not for end users so it was dead end.
How can that setting could be reset to original fresh state? Please help.

Does the buyer have a BlackBerry data plan from Wind?

Did you unlock it before selling it?

I unlocked it. Just received e-mail from buyer. They managed to re-load OS and phone is fine now. Thank you for trying to help! :smile:

It had an IT Policy on it that wasn't removed by you.
