Exclamation Wireless synch then USB cable for file transfer?

Please Login to Remove!

I've gotten a new BB8830 that I was instructed to synch wirelessly. Can I still attach to computer via USB to add programs and files thru BB manager, not synching that is.

Our BB Manager says that if you do that the whole enterprise system will shut down at the company. I thought that if you set to wireless and you do not activate the USB synch then you are simple transfering and updating files on the local computer.

So am I safe to attach via USB or does it have the possibility to shut down the enterprise system at work...which i can't believe.
