Default I can't send emails.

Please Login to Remove!

I am using BES. I can receive company emails but when I reply or compose a new email and send, it gets a "red X". My BES admin is stumped. She says it may be due to the fact that I am a domain administrator. How would this affect my being able to send emails? Any similar experiences?

Have you pulled your battery to simply reboot the BB?

Often that is the fix for the simplest of problems.

If the battery fix doesn't do it then try having your service books pushed to your Blackberry again.

What error are you getting, If you go into your sent message, it should give you an error. I believe it could be a permissions issue. Take a look here:

We wound up creating alternate domain accounts for our IT people who needed domain access. This way we could keep their 'regular' account intact, it wouldn't screw up their BB permissions.

At first the BES admin was telling me that I should wait a few days and do the battery in/out thing. It has been 3 weeks since and still no solution.

rambo47 - How do you get service books pushed?

jsconyers - The message I get is "Desktop Email program unable to submit message".

Hey juwaack68,

I'm curious to know: Did you go this route instead of the RIM suggestions for correcting the Send As issue because it was simpler or, did you do it this way because of security concerns? My company's in the same boat and have been sitting on not doing anything (I can't send from my BB unless using a web based app) because the RIM-suggested solution seems convoluted.
