| Activating alternate phones Please Login to Remove! This is a general question that applies to unapproved phones on our corporate network. I was curious to find out if one of my users could purchase another Blackberry model of their liking, swap out the SIM card and have it work. We have certain approved Blackberry models for our employees and with the new WiFi enabled phones, we don't want our guys buying the new phones and swapping the SIM's into them to get them to work.
This assumes the phones are under the same provider to work on the same network. Let's use AT&T as an example. Our employee may not like our standard issue phone and they go out and buy the 8820 with Wifi capabilities. Can they swap the SIM from our standard issue phone into the 8820? |
