Default Acquiring/Downloading/Sending Service Books

I have a user's Blackberry that is pretty messed up when it comes to meeting requests. When a meeting request is sent from Outlook, it shows up in the user's Outlook inbox. But on the Blackberry, the appointment goes straight into the calendar with no option to accept/deny/etc.

I need to change this.

I have read in several threads about "resending service books" but I have no idea what this means. I was kinda thrown into handling this Blackberry problem with little prior experience so any help would be welcomed. How do I "resend" or otherwise acquire said service books?

Some info that may be helpful:
model 8700c
BES - Exchange 2003 SP2
Desktop software is version 4.2.2

Many thanks.

I believe with AT&T/Cingular, as soon as you register with the network (Host Routing Table) they send your service books automatically.
