For the last 3-4 hours, in Dallas on AT&T, I've had no email service, and my display reads "edge" vs "EDGE", so it would appear that the BIS service is down. Anyone else seeing this??

Full EDGE and BIS service in North Alabama area.

I would first recommend you pull the battery and reboot the device.

Full EDGE in Stone Mountain, GA. All throughout the day.

Small edge would likely indicate a network problem for ATT

Or that you have to pop the battery out and in.

People seem to immediately think any problem is a BB network outage. It can be lots of things.

I changed the title of the thread something slightly less alarmist. If we find otherwise, I will change it back.

Server logs indicate regular connections every 15 mins. from rim BIS servers in ID.
