Default verizon 8830 vs 8130 ? Should I have waited

Please Login to Remove!

I just ordered an 8830 from vzw. It was pretty cheap as I signed up for another joyous 2 years but for 99.99 I figured you cant go wrong. My question is should I have waited for the 8130 pearl? It is supposed to come out on november 1. I have 30 days to switch so I was just wonder if anyone had any helpful insight? Oh btw I have an 8703e at the moment. I like the full keyboard that is 1 reason I am not sold on the pearl.

I guess it all depends on your preference on size, and the full keyboard. I currently have the 8830, and I love it. I had a perl, and a curve before that, and I have a 7100i for one of the companies I work with, and out of all of them I like the 8830 best. Dont quote me on this, but from what I have heard the new perl has the same OS version as the new Perl thats coming out....

The 8830 seems to have more issues/glitches than any other new model Blackberry in recent memory. Head over to the 8800 forum and read all the complaints and gripes before choosing.

Fully agree.... Out of all the BB's that have glitches I have used, is my 7100i. Why is it Nextel can never have good devices?
