Default Syncing causes loss of part of addresses

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

After syncing, the street address line on some (not all) of my contacts is deleted. Ex: Address used to be 1234 Elm St, Los Angeles, CA, 9XXXX, the 1234 Elm St is gone. The Los Angeles is still there.

Syncing with MS Outlook 2003 on XP Pro SP2, BlackBerry 8700G, and Desktop Manager Ver 4.2.2.14.

I have been using MS ActiveSync with an HP IPAQ for years with no problems, only after I switched over to BB did this problem start.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why I'm losing this info?

Thanks in advance for any help on this problem.

Sounds like a mapping issue...where the field names aren't matching up between your Outlook and your device. So the info that's supposed to transfer is either transferring to a field you're not showing, or not transferring.

Thank you for the response, but that does not appear to be the problem. I just checked the mapping from the Desktop Manager and all seems to be correct. The deletion happens (seemingly) at random. My Aunt in Texas, whose address has never changed is now deleted. When viewing in Outlook, there is a blank line where the street address used to be.
