When I read on my blackberry from a website I often times find myself having to move the trackball to keep it from going black. I have it set to 30 seconds because I don't read a ton on it so I don't want ot leave it on 2 minutes.

With the program bblight, can I turn the program on and off? And am I 100% correct on what the program even does? It allows me to keep the LCD on all the time correct? Does it turn off while locked? Just some questions I had.

I don't know anything about bblight but why don't you change your screen timeout to 1 minute or 90 seconds?

I read on my Pearl, so I've just gotten used to twitching the trackball now and then.

Because I don't want to waste the battery and have to worry about locking it

I use the volume keys to keep the backlight on.

When you holster it again it goes out, so putting it on 2 minutes shouldn't be a problem, besides the light doesn't use all that much power, a short 10 second phone call will use more power than 2 minutes of screen.
